David Chrien

Founder & CEO, Critical Fuel Systems Consultants

David has served the petroleum equipment industry for 38 years as the President of Service Station Equipment Co., Inc. (SSECO), an air fluid environmental equipment company. He has spoken to many ASPE Chapters throughout the past 15 years. He was recently appointed to the committee to write “Best Practices for Emergency Generator and Fuel Oil systems” manual for the Petroleum Equipment Association. He is a Steel Tank Institute Inspector’s License Level 2 (EPA SPCC requirements). He graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in 1975 after which he joined the family business serving a wide range of petroleum, automotive, and bulk plant applications. He also speaks to the John Carroll University Entrepreneurs’ Association, a program to help young students understand the problems of entrepreneurship and family business.

David recently developed a prefabricated pipe trench that provides an easy to access pipe trench in concrete floors for any type of piping application including fuel oil, water, steam, and laboratory applications.
